Our tasting room is nestled in Carmel Valley Village.  And like our wines, boasts its own cultural and storied history within the community.  Once a bookshop named “The Encounter,” the building was once owned by the sister of Joan Baez and was a beloved venue that would frequently be visited by such legends as John Lennon and Bob Dylan.

    A celebrated Broadway star, Aisha made her debut in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and made history as the first Black woman to play Anna in Frozen. She went on to originate the role of Snow White in Once Upon a One More Time and has appeared in Waitress, Paradise Square, The Notebook, and more.
